i am finally on the other side!
i made it! i cant believe i am really here.... its been relatively easy - not too many problems. i do have a pain that wont go away on my right side near one of my incisions (i had lap rny). i am thinking with time it will get better. i have had no problem getting my fluids in and eating my tiny bits of food. i am addicted to the scale - i cant quit weighing. i think i am down like 4lbs. my surgery was on the 31st of august. this is wonderful. i am not tired of my foods yet - but when i was at the hospital - they gave me cream of mushroom soup. its not on my list to eat for the first 2 weeks. oh well - it sure was good at the hospital! funny how simple foods make you so happy now....
just thought i would update.

happy about everything
YAY YOU!!!!!! You had your surgery the same day as me! (and Kimberly B) I've actually been told that creamy soups are ok as long as they are strained and FAT FREE. I had a bit of trouble my first day out over soup not being FF and probably eating too fast... but anyhoo, isn't it great not to have that obsession hanging over your head about 'what am I gonna do about this weight problem?'
Oh, I hope I can make it to the Macon thing (I live in *******) and meet you!
congratulations!!!
Gretchen
