Surgery Date - Second Time Around

Had a call from Pam in Dr. Scarborough's office last week, giving me a surgery date of 9/21. When I heard they were flying in hospital patients from New Orleans, I thought, "Oh, no, there goes my bed at Emory Adventist!" I was so ashamed of myself, but after loosing out, two days before surgery last March, I've become a little paranoid. Anyhow, I'd appreciate comments on the hospital - comfort level, nursing care, etc. Still trying to find the right time to tell my husband that the surgery's back on. So far I've only told people I know are supportive. Nothing like being chicken! Anyone else got the same surgery date? If so, I'd love to hear from you. Barb in S. GA

Hi Barbara, Congrats on a new date! We will keep our fingers crossed for you this time around!! The only experience I had with Emory was my DAD who had triple bypass. He got amazing care and the people were fabulous. I wish you all the best!! Tami
