Update.........

Hi everyone! Sorry i vanished lately we had some pretty nasty stuff here thanks to katrina the other day and well between loss of sleep and a very busy few days i have neglected the board sorry. Went for my Psych eval yesterday in Marietta, hope it went well she did not let me know either way really. I will find out via email in a few weeks. Don't think i made a good first impression. I brought my daughter to the office with me and jeff and well katie got tired during this time and was ill. PLUS one of her staff let her go in to a room they do therapy with kids and play with toys in there. SO needless to say when she was told she could not be in there no more she threw a fit. The Dr. gave jeff grief about bringing a child to a 3 hour testing appt. Well he informed her that he had to bring me and he was watching our kid. So i come out to find out about all this. SO you can imagine i am absolutely ashamed i brought her but guys i had no choice. NOW I AM STRESSING not a good thing at a psych eval. Anyway, she is worried about support for me but guys i assure u i have family and yall and friends backing me up. And jeff is slowily comeing around. So hopefully one more check mark on my list. Peachtree called me yesterday and i had to get a script i evidently have the h pylon infection in the tummy. (thought i was eating to many hot things causing the pain) All that is left is my support group meet, nutritional consult, and pre op testing. OK question where can i go to a good support group meeting but not have to drive all the way to atlanta for it and it count toward my list? Tryin to spare my self and pocket book a break. Forked out a 100 bucks for gas to that evaluation yesterday. Any suggestions would be aprreciated. And i will eventually get to one of the get togethers but will have to wrok around it with jeff's schedule since i can not drive. So desperately wanting to meet all of you. I'm not sure about it counting towards your "list", but Obesity Solutions (Drs. Richard and Proctor) have support groups in Gainesville. That will be a bit closer for you. Good luck with everything!

Way to go girl, I'm proud you are making progress, My packet was sent to Insurance Monday, they say they haven't received it as of yesterday, but I'm calling again today. Best of luck!! Love ya girl, Melissa
