I'm HOME!
Hey ya'll!
I am sorry that I didnt get to respond to each of you individually. But I want you to know I really appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers sent my way.
Surgery was yesterday morning at 8:30. Dr. Duncan and Dr. Hobson both did my surgery. Everything went very well. Found out that anesthesia and morphine doesnt settle well with me, lol I had the dry heaves all afternoon. Once it was out of my system, I felt alot better. I got home around 4 this afternoon. The staff at Atlanta Medical Center is totally AWESOME! My dad stayed with me last night and he said he has never seen hospital workers as nice as they are at AMC. We were all very impressed. I loved my view of downtown Atlanta. We slept with the blinds up. It didnt even bother me with the helicopter pad right below my window!
I am a little sore, I think most of it is from the ride home and all the walking I have done today. Daddy is worried I have overdone myself. But the pain medicine is pretty good. It seems to help alot. I just have to remind myself to get some liquids in. I do not want to dehyrate. But all in all I think I am doing good.
Thank you all again for your prayers. I really believe in prayer and the prayer chain. You guys are great and I am looking forward to meeting the support group in Warner Robins and hoping to be at the Macon get together. Ok time to go sit somewhere else more comfortable!
Love ya'll!

I feel so much better though since I have been home. Now just gotta work on the climbing in and out of bed! LOL Will be at the minimees as soon as I can. Look forward to meeting all of you great people!

Thank you for the prayers. One can never have too many! The only thing I hated is that I didnt get a picture of my view from my window. My mother left before it got dark and she took the camera with her. It was amazing. LOL Yes, I was born in a small town and raised in a small town. The country girl got to go to the big city! LOL My husband who grew up in Detroit always picks on me! lol
Take care!
