*The Waiting game begins*

Hi my fellow OH buddies, I got a call today from Lolita at Atlanta Medical Center, she said she sent my packet in to the insurance company today for approval, and told me to call them every few days til they give me an answer, woohoo, hopefully I will be approved in less than a week. Pray and keep your fingers crossed that I will. Love you all, Melissa

I'm feeling pretty good. The whole liquids are staying down pretty well. I'm struggling to get in fluids, but I'm really trying. I'm tired, but I think that is partly because I'm bored (and I can't eat when I'm bored). I need to work on my many hobbies that I don't have time to work on. Thank you for asking.

Melissa, I will be praying for you to get approved the first time. I would cross my fingers and my toes, but I can not type with crossed fingers, and I don't have enough room in my shoes to cross my toes!! LOL But I will be a praying. Norma

Hey Melissa! BCBS only took about 8 days to approve mine so hopefully it won't take that long for you! I called the day after it was sent to see if they rec'd it. Then I called Tuesday, Thursday and the following Tuesday they said it had been approved on Monday. Or something like that, lol It will happen, but its nerve wrecking just sitting and waiting! I'm going to call them this evening to see if they received my packet then tomorrow, lol to check on the status. How is your flu? Hey, Melissa, Mine was through BCBS and I got the letter from the Drs' office saying that my packet had been sent in on a Saturday, and they called me the same week on Thursday to tell me it was approved. My BMI is only 36 and I had no history of Dr. supervised diets or Weigh****chers and I had only 2 years of medical records with one of them being pregnant. I think everybody was surprised, so I would be surprised if you were turned down. Anyhoo, you're in my prayers! Gretchen
