Question for ladies...

I have a question...kind of a stupid one. My husband said he recalls people asking this when he was getting ready for his surgery, and he didn't think it would be a problem. Other than being inconvenient, would there be any reason that menstration would affect the surgery? Thank you, Stephanie

None that I recall. Other then the fact you would be required to use pads instead of tampons. Kia 284/196/155

Exactly what Kia said.....they won't prevent you from having your surgery - you just should make sure that they are aware that you have it if it's the case. Dee Dee

Hey Staph. I know that Kara and Dee Dee already responded but just wanted to say that it's very common for women to start right before the surgery or immediately after. Don't worry, just tell your nurse. Hugs to you gal! Tonya
