is this normal???
Thanks Kia. I know I have lost inches but not sure how many, I don't go back to the Dr. until November but I am going to Curves & it is time Monday to be weighed & measured. I won't give up, my head is high.
The day of my surgery I had on a pair of jeans that were 22-24 & today I bought a pair of 18 because they were on sale & I showed them to my husband when I got home & told him I couldn't wear them yet but I will in a month or so & he said try them on, I think you can wear them now, so I did & guess what they fit, a little tighter than what I want in the rear but they fit. Had to share that. Thanks again

Hi, I'm 2 yrs post op this August. What you are going through is normal. I know this will be hard, but try to resist weighing everyday. Try to do it every few days or once a week. I weighed 296 lbs when I had the surgery and I wore a 26/28w now I weigh 128 and wear a 6/8. If anyone would have told me that I would be this small I would have laughed at them. I remember when I lost the first 48 pounds then it stopped for a month. I thought oh my gosh I did all this for 48 pounds to go away. But as soon as my body adjusted again, I started losing again. Just do what your doctor tells you and you will be fine. I will be praying for you.
