Another concern ...

strange things are happenning to me... for the first 35 years of my life I basicaly never had stomachache... heartburn---yes, but never pain or ache.... my surgery is less than 4 weeks away...for the last week or so I've been dealing with stomachache almost non-stop. Nothing severe really but enough to make me "aware of my stomach" and persistant urge to throw up...I'm classifying it all as "mental abdomen"....did any of you have similar problems?.. ...Of note I also feel that I want to eat even more than I used to and I'm frequently breaking rules that I used to keep before (like not eating after 7 pm or not eating fried food)...I even gained a few ponds it all kind of worries me because I'm not that "mental" in general but it seems that I'm becoming one...))... is this just a sign of "bigger and bader" things to come?

Could it be attributed to just a nervous stomach???? I mean, look what you are in for... Mine did the same thing a couple of weeks before surgery too. And it was fine after surgery. I think, for me anyway, that I was just getting myself all tied up in knots from what was about to happen to me. And I ate a little more because I was of the notion I may never get to have some of the foods that I truely loved after surgery. This is not true for me either... just don't eat as much of those things now. Time is flying by quickly for you now... try not to worry yourself to death in the process. Susan

You are right, Susan....I know that .... but still feel all these knots and kind of a nervous pressure... that I thought I wasn't prone to... anyway, thanks for your support, and I hope you are doing well..... can't wait to be on the other side with you all..
