fort benning?

anyone have surgery at fort benning, bypassing, pardon the pun!, tricare? looking for any information on how to do this. thanks, bonnie

I know of someone that has a husband stationed at Ft. Benning that had the surgery. However, she went to a doctor in Atlanta for the surgery. She told me in order to get tricare to pay for it, she had to go through a year of psy evaluation and jump some major hoops. They also do not cover lap but prefer open surgery. But she ended up getting lap somehow. Are you in the Columbus area? I can put you in touch with the support group there that has alot of military spouses who have had the surgery. Take care! Kimberly
