I have a date!!!

Hello to All!!!...I have date.... 8/8/05...!!!!..... hard to believe how fast I got approved... and as much as I read about this surgery and as much as I have medical experience (I'm a PA myself) I don't have a clear plan on what's to do over the next month to prepare myself better for what's come...It surely feels overwelming, and I lack clarity now...Any practical advicces you might have are wellcome

Good for you Rita! All I can say is pray pray pray and get your clear and full liquids before your big day. Don't forget to get something for gas I used Mylicon gas drops for babies. I hope you have a speedy recovery and most of all a complications free surgery! Caren

Thank You, Caren... that's exactly the type of advice I'm looking for...... btw...I only met with my surgeon once other than first seminar.... and then my pre-op meeting with him and nutritionist consult are on the same day just a few days before surgery..... maybe this was a mistake to schedule that way.....now I have a feeling that I'm missing some important things and they probably will be "thrown at me" at the last minute

Great, I'm glad you sot approved so quick. As for the next month , it will be gone so quick, you won't believe it !! Just sit back and enjoy your life and know that this time next year you won't even recongize the person you have become. It feels so great to be normal !! God bless you, Judy
