I quit before I begin

Well this is the 4th appt. that I could not make to my PCP to get a referral letter. Every time my apt. comes up my aunt forgets to come andpick me up.I just talked to her last night and she said she was coming to get me this morning about 8:20 am I called her and no no answer. My appt. was at 9:12am. She only lives 10 mins. away from me.At first she said that she was there for me and was going to stand by me through all of this, now lately she keeps saying only thing you need to do is walk and the weight will come off.She knows how hard I tried over the years only to keep failing. What canI do? I"m looking to you guys for some information and support. Thanks so much. Hugs and kisses.

The next time you get an appointment , Call a taxi !! Don't give up ,because this surgery is a life saver. My whole life has changed for the better. Just hang in there .Judy

I can get a taxi but my aunt was going to watch my boys for me that's where she messed me up all the time.

I would find someone else to sit with the boys and give me a ride. Patti

Hi! If all else falls, call a taxi, & take the boys with you. Don't let anything stop you from going for the glass ring. Its your turn in life and only you can help you!. Hang in there, we have faith in you. It hard enough going & taking all the steps to just get approved so you can't give up now. Melissa, If you truly want this, you will get to that appt. and not count on someone who is obviously not supporting you. You can take your kids to the doctor with you, I have two boys ages 4 and 5 that go everywhere with me. I get a backpack and fill it with coloring books,crayons, books, small games and snacks and they are not to open it until the doc comes in. Do they interrupt? Sure, but for the most part they are fine. Call that doctor back and explain your situation, I bet they will work you in for a sooner appt..Good Luck!!! Cathy Martin

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, Took the boys out to play. But I have read everyones reply and thanks you guys . I made another appt. and will be taking the boys with me, my 9 yr old will help with the 2yr old and 8 month old.
