GA Monthly Get togethers... Aug & Sept.

Hi All... I am looking to host a monthly get together soon. And with July's get together fast approaching, in combination with Tonya & James' wedding shower, I figured I better throw this out sooner than later so that I would have time for planning. I heard at one of our last get togethers that someone (Shree Burgdorf, are ya out there???) was planning our event for August. I would like to do September in Macon, and have an evening event with dinner, as usual, then a night out on the town afterwards. Currently, as far as dates go, I am looking at Saturday, September 17th. If this is good for enough folks, I'd like to get started on looking for a place for dinner, and get that set up with a local restraunt, and start getting some goodies together as well. Susan, You can count me in..I will be there..not sure if Mike will be able to come now that he is working at wally world and his hours are screwy..but I will be there with bells on. D'Lynn

What about the Rookery? Its off of Cherry Street, I beleive. If you give the S&S a day's notice they will accomodate just about any gathering. They have awesome food too! Just a thought. Crece

I have the WORST luck on these get-togethers! We'll be on our way to the beach. Our school dist. has that whole next week off as a 'fall break'---so we're heading out of town. Eventually, I'll get to one!!! Michelle

I heard from Shree and she says she and Carol DO want to do August. I'll ask her to put a post up...

I'm good with it. I'll notify "She who must be obeyed" so she can make sure she is off.
