WOW!!! I had my 2 week post-op appt!!!

Wow! I can't believe it! I had my 2 week post-op appt today and was so excited I have lost 27 lbs since my surgery June 15th. With the weigh I had to lose before surgery it comes to a grand total of 39lbs!! My journey is just starting and I pray there are not to many bumps in it along the way. It sure is a lonely road sometimes. But I am trying to stay on track. I hope everyone is doing well. Valerie

Morning, Valerie! I am sooo happy for you! Having seen you on day 1 post-op, I bet it'd knock my flip-flops off to see you only 2 weeks later and 27 lbs. lighter! By the dog days of August, you'll really notice how great it feels to carry significantly less fat around. And a year from now, don't be surprised if you have to wear a cardigan sweater in the supermarket 'cause it's so damn cold to us!! Stay connected to us and ask any questions you need to, share your continued successes and find support and ideas for your challenges. You are on your way to total transformation, honey!! Thanks Lauralyn! I still can't believe I lost that much in just 2 weeks. I can't really tell in my clothes yet. Or maybe it is just that the only thing I am wearing right now is my shorts. It is so hot outside! Your words of encouragement have been very helpful! I keep in my mind your pictures of your journey and remind myself that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Valerie, Great job I am glad you are doing so well Since I will be behind you a almost a month . I am going to follow on your coat tails. Thanks Beth!! I will be glad to help you anyway I can. I look foward to having someone to talk to about things. I expected things to be a lot harder than they have been so far, so I am very happy. I hope that things continue to progress the way they are. I keep reading things that people go thru and try to use them as a tool to prevent things happening to me. I am really trying to follow the doctors protocol and get in the things I need. I think the best thing that I did was get on the Juice Plus before surgery so that my body would heal better.
