Acceptance Question??

I have a question, I sent in my packet last Thursday the 23rd, and I thought that by now I would have atleast gotten a letter confirming they had gotten it( I know they got it because I paid to have it tracked and the usps website says it was signed for Saturday the 25th) , as another lady(Sandra Carder) at the seminar sent hers off Wednesday the 22nd, and got her confirming letter last Saturday, does this mean that Dr. Duncan is possibly not going to consider me for surgery since I have heard nothing, or that is extremely busy (which I know he is)? I'm just looking and the what if's now. Melissa

Melissa , I would call Yakima to ask if they recieved it . Because in my case I never got a letter I got an appointment right form her. When I called to confirm they had recieved my 2nd packet. So thats what I would do. They are very careing and don't think you are bothering them thats what they are there for. Yakima is very nice and I have only had good experinces with everyone there like I have metioned. Let me know what they tell you in the morning...Beth

Melissa, Don't worry, just call Yakima and she will help you. She is hard to get ahold of, but tell them you want to hold for her. She is great! I told them the poor girl needs some help because she is so busy! But she will get things going for you! I found that sometimes things get misplaced in the office, so it is best to call her. I was at the office today and noticed that they had moved Yakima into a office. Which I hope helps her out! She has so much to keep up with. Have you started any of your other appts? The more you have accomplished before your appt the faster it will be. Also keep in mind that most of the time you do not even see Dr. Duncan. He has other Doctors you see to get you going.
