My Big Day is Tomorrow Guys!!
Deb, God bless you! Hang in there and take it one day at a time. Don't be timid about asking questions. I am 2 weeks post op. I am so thankful that I had someone staying with me full-time in the hospital. (husband took his vacation and daughter stayed also) They took turns, helping me out. The nurses were great! Also, just a tip. I asked for anti-nausea and/or anxiety meds with my Anestectic (sp?). Also, I had anxiety some days after the surgery, they can give you something should you experience this (I am not saying you will) just a tip! and Walk, Walk, Walk when you can! God bless you Sincerely, LMW
Of course, I meant anti-anxiety meds and/or anti-nausea meds!!! They really helped me. Of course, I don't do well on pain medication. It just kept me so groggy and out of it! I will be thinking about you in the morning! Forgive me, if you already thought of all of this I mentioned! I was so glad someone suggested these things to me!
You are only 2 weeks post op? How are you feeling? Are you able to get up and around or are you still having pain? I'm glad that I will have my family to help me through when its my surgery time and I was glad to hear that you had your family as well. Where did you have your surgery at?
Thanks for the tip...I will remember that and ask for it.

Not too much pain, but I am continually having some anxiety off and on. I think it is because of my body adjusting to all that it has been through. I had my surgery at Floyd Hospital in Rome. I am glad that your family will be there for you too. I had a complication and my digestive track tried to go to sleep on me!! But, it is better now. God bless you. I hope all is going well for you today. Hopefully, you are home or will be home soon. Sincerely, LMW
