So Michael, have you given some thought to the strategies you'll use to keep yourself on target for continued weight loss while you're on the road?
Hope so! That's the most effective way to continue your wonderful success!
My son, Luke, is an extraordinarily talented drummer who tours just about every weekend with the Atlanta-based fusion group:
Blueground Undergrass with Jeff Mosier - see their website at
www.bluegroundundergrass.com.
He is very active during the week taking martial arts classes
which is probably what has kept him from really putting on the pounds, but it is creeping up on him - as he complained to me.
"On the road again," can lead to eating out of boredom & fatigue.
Plan ahead how/when you'll schedule your cardio workouts (most motels have fitness rooms, nowadays) & bringing the kind of food/snacks & beverages that support your weight loss.
ROCK ON!
Lovingly,
Lauralyn, Mother-of-the-drummer!

I'm not too concerned about that when im on the road... i'll pretty much eat how i do now (which is VERY little)... and places like boston market, ect... as far as the cardio workout? currently what im doing now is walking/joggind 2-3 miles a day and swimming which my dr. and i agree is fine. and i plan to try and do that most days on the road.... many days we wont be in a hotel and statying with friends around the country, so a 'gym' isn't usually an option.
i'm looking foward to it, it'll be good.
