Questions, HELP!!

I sent in my packet yesterday, but BCBS says that I can't do any of my testing until I have the consult with Dr. Duncan, Can I not go ahead and find a phsyc.dr. and a dietician and make appts, or do I need to wait? Melissa

BCBS told me that if I had any of the test done before the consult they may not pay for it, that is the only thing she said. Now that you mention it you do look like a cabbage patch, hehehe, but that's not a bad thing. Melissa

Melissa, I set up an appt a month ago with my dr and he did not a physical but a general checkup and did the standard blood work (kinda cutting corners with medicare) and they covered it so I think you could go ahead and go in for a reg dr appt and have things set up with him ask what stuff he could do for you. Do the research on what drs, dieticians, etc you can use and just be ready. That way once you come home from Dr D's office you can call them and set stuff up. Cutting the time for searching for the specialists. This is kinda weird would not think it mattered unless they think that you would do testing that the dr didn't thnk necesary. Hope that helps some.
