Hi everyone! I finally got my clearance letter from my PCP. I am telling you, if you are in the Columbs/Phenix City area, Dr. Zumstein is awesome! I will be mailing my letter to my surgeons office tomorrow. I am on my way!!!!!! I am in the process of moving to Perry, GA. My family has been in that area for over 50 years. I am so looking forward to moving back home while my husband is in Iraq. Now that I am moving, I am in need of a new doctor. Can anyone recommend a PCP that is gastric bypass friendly? What about support groups? I can't wait for my surgery. Hopefully it will not take long to get a surgery date. Kimberly "Proud Wife of a Soldier" Soon to be looser!

Hey Tonya! I have heard about your engagement and upcoming wedding here on the boards. Congratulations to you and James. I am so happy for the two of you! I will not be able to make this weeks meeting. But I will definately make it to the next one. Also thanks for the info on the support group on yahoo. Look forward to meeting everyone in the WR area. Hi Kimberly! And welcome home! Be sure hubby knows how much we appreciate him! And we are very proud to welcome you! I'm a member of the group Tonya told you about, definately look us up. Talk about a wealth of knowledge...! I have a PCP in Macon who has supported me through my surgery. He did my cardio and puliminary referrals for me. I am his only WLS patient however so he is not at all familiar with the after care. And with my surgeon being in atlanta thats not really a good thing. I am looking for a PCP myself that has more knowledge of the procedure and who might be a better doc for me so if I find one I will surely let you know or will gladly give you my current docs name. You are going to find some postops right in your own backyard when you get home!! I look forward to seeing you at support group and I wish you the the very best. Holler if theres anything you need. Hi Kia! Looking forward to meeting you as well. I have a grandfather that lives in Byron. He owns a print shop or a local newspapaer or something, lol Not sure, I haven't seen or spoken to him in years. Is there a large crowd that goes to the meetings in WR? I am so looking forward to meeting others. Take care! Kimberly
