I have a terrible rash under the apron of my stomach/abdomen area. I had been feeling tenderness for a couple of days, but Tuesday noticed the rash in full bloom. It hurts like crazy and it hasn't helped that I've been sitting in car for three days on and off for 3-4 hours at a time on a road trip. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for me, I can't see my doctor until next Friday and nothing is helping me so far. Thanks. Krystal 303/267/165

Krystal, the most likely explanation for your rash is a monilia (yeast) infection. Since you've been sitting, and your skin in that area may have stayed warm and moist, it would not be at all unusual for a little yeast infection to start up. You can buy over-the-counter meds at the drug store. Kathy

I have heard that until you can get to a doctor, use stuff they make for baby diaper rash. Destin or some other product. Kia 284/211/155 ish

I have had this before and I used Gold Bond powder. It works. Just sprinkle it there and try to keep the area dry. When it gets moist is when the yeast infection get worse and itches. Carol

Not to be gross - but if I were you I'd take a picture of it before it clears up. I think having proof of rashes is one way to support insurance coverage of tummy tuck or other plastic surgery... in case you might want to do that some day. Especially since it might be much better by the time you get to the doctor next week.

Sometimes it takes an RX and I agree...documentation of that might work in your favor down the road for Plastics. Hope you feel better! I've experienced the same thing.

You aren't going to believe it, but I grabbed a tube of Cortaid and IT WORKED! It took the fire and pain out immediately! I did have to get to my PCP for a prescription, but it sure helped meantime. Patti
