SURGERY DAY LESS THAN TEN HOURS AWAY

Hey All Well I got the official call to be at the hospital in the morning at 5:30. I feel that I am ready and am not even really scared. Just starving to darn death since Duncan requires two days of clear liquids prior to surgery day. I am excited and don't know if I will sleep at all tonight, but hey, such is life. I can't wait and will talk to everyone when I am on the other side. Val

Sandra, Thanks so much for the good wishes. I am sure that I will be fine, just slightly crabby todday, but it is getting closer and closer, so I am also getting more excited and antsy. It will be fine for you to call. I will be in Atlanta Medical Center. I appreciate the thought. I will also keep your progress in my prayers, I know how frustrating it can all get at times. Giel you will be fine and you will have no issues at all ...My mom told me that when she first saw me after surgery the first thing i said was i was starving !!!! LOL i guess the mind really controls the stomach LOL LOL but you will be great and so happy you did this Best of luck Laura

Laura, The positive thoughts are exactly what I need right now. Thanks to Obesity Help I have been blessed with a marvelous support network that has been priceless. In fact, being able to speak to people who had the procedure with my doctor over during the months of May and June has been great. They are doing so well, I feel reassured and secure that I chose the best person to do this procedure for me. You have a wonderful evening and thanks again for taking the time to respond.
