TT pics finaly online
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! As I get closer to my goal I know that I will also need a tummy tuck. People rarely show what they looked like pre op. I really appreciate the fact that you showed those before pictures. I carry most of my weight on my tummy and hide it currently with by wearing a girdle everyday. When people comment on my weight loss I always say, yeah but I have a girdle on
Seeing your pictures makes me realize that with a Tummy Tuck I may finally be able to get my body image where it should be. Again Thanks girl. I will be bookmarking your photo journey page and checking in on your progress. Are you coming to the BAF meet and greet? I would love to see you in person.

Yes I will definetly be at the meet and great for sure!!!!!!! You will see me there. I will also keep my picture trial updated cuz I want to see the process also. I know i would have appreciated detailed pics like this also. But I could not find any. They were always so far out that there was no swelling so I had to real reality of what it would be like. Had I known I would not have felt so disappointed. But I know time will heal it just would have been nice to see a record of someone right after surgery and such. So I promised I would be very detailed on the good and bad no matter what. I am happy to say that I had no pain and no complications.
My surgeon is the best so check her out when the time is right and dont forget to tell her I sent ya

Girl, I have already written your surgeons info in my WLS binder. Your tummy tuck was my subject of the day yesterday. There are 4 ladies in the office who have either had GB or want it. I pulled them all into my office so that we could ooo and ahhh over your pics. You have given me so much hope. As I said we are built just alike (at least we used to be built just a like--apple shapes) and although I jokingly talked to friends about going to Brazil and getting a tummy tuck, I never thought it would be covered. My stomach is big but it doesn't really hang over dramaticly. I also have BCBS did they make you jump through a lot of hoops to get the surgery done? Did you have to have a lot of documentation of rashes and yeast infections? I talked to my PC at my last appt about some back pain but he attributed it to stress and sort of brushed me off. My back sometimes hurts but it is not severe by any means. Anyway, I will be sure to corner you at the meet and greet and ask you a million more questions then. And again I sure do appreciate your sharing the good, bad and the graphic.
Shamim

Hey Shamim,
Well I have to say I had a good PCP. I did not complain much but she knew what I wanted and how to get it for me. I did have alot of yeast infection but she did not see the sores. My surgeon did see the sores when I was like 8 months out. So they documented that 1 incident. But what I did over the year was ask my PCP purcribe me 1. oral 2. topical cream 3. powders to clear up the yeast on skin. I told her they did not help and it was reacuring. So I had 1 letter from my WLS surgeon that said they saw a sore and that continued treatment with all 3 methods failed and that I need removeal of skin from boob arms and tummy. My PCP said the same thing but did not mention the sore since she did not see it. But she did say I had backace. That is all I had. Now Wang-Ashraf did the rest (my PS) i attribute my approval to her dictation on our visit. Dont give up cuz BCBS is the #1 approver of this PS after Gastric. you just need 2 good letters and her dictation and your good to go...
Good Luck
