Hi fellow Peachers

I wanted to drop in today and wish everybody and happy, healthy, and productive day I usually lurk more often than post, but i'm trying to come out of the shadows more, and get to know some people. I've been cooped up in this house of mine for about a year and a half now, and hubby keeps telling me I need to try to make some friends ( i'm driving him ) I know some of you from reading your post, but I would like to get to know more of you here. I'm 6 weeks out today and down 55lbs so far i'm estatic about that, but still feeling drained not enough energy which is annoying!! Nobodies fault but my own i'm still not doing the prodical correctly with the vitamins, protein and water it's such work!! Anyways i'm 33 yrs old, married to Eddie a.k.a. Batman, with my 10 yr old son Tommy. We live in Ellenwood and i'm hoping that within a couple more months i'll start feeling better, and maybe even get a job of some sort. Kriss, Welcome!!!Okay, I have a question for you, where is Ellenwood? I am not a native of Georgia, so there are so many places that I don't have a clue as to where they are! Well, my name is Cathy, I am 30yo, married for 9 years(on 6/ 29!!!) and have two boys. I am a stay at home mom,and have been since my first was born. I can relate to not going out of the house, the only places I used to go was to the grocery store. I too, am trying to make some friends, for so long I was a recluse, just me and my family, and those habits are still hard to break. We have just recently joined a Church, and I have volunteered to work at out Vacation Bible School next week. This is a very big step for me. I hope that you are enjoying your weight loss, you will start to feel better, I promise! Cathy

Hi Cathy Congratulations on finding a church home. Thats where I am right now. VBS was always such a blast for me when I was a kid... you will not only be great... you'll have fun too! I've probably asked you before but where is Hiram?

Hey Barb! Thanks so much, I feel really good about our Church. Everything is so new for me, it has meant a presence of religion and faith in my life, that growing up I never really had. It has also meant a change of faith from Catholic to Baptist, now that's some major differences! But I'm happy, and wanting to learn more and more every day. The kids are thriving, and hubby is happy too! Hiram is in Paulding County, near Dallas and Douglasville. Paulding is next to Cobb County and Douglas County, and that's about all I can tell you! Hiram is growing ALOT, and we are looking to buy a home in the near future and maybe looking a little more west, traffic here can get pretty ugly.Hiram has lots of shopping, so I think that my dear hubby wants to move me a little farther away from it.(that would be a good thing) Cathy PS how are you feeling?

Hey Kriss! We share a doc @ weeks out for me so you are not too far ahead of me. One day at a time babe... thats what I keep telling myself. I've been reclusive too, am I seeing a trend here? Funny thing is when I meet people from here they are the friendliest and nicest people you could want to know. And they have been where I have been so there is instant kinship!
