Just back from visiting with Marc Phillips

Just back in from Atlanta and seeing Marc. He is doing fantastic. Wish I would have done as well as he has done at this same point. He is 'briskly' walking the halls, and feeling pretty good up until about an hour before his pain meds are due again. He wanted me to tell everyone he is doing great, and feeling pretty good, and thank eveyrone for all their thoughts and well wishes for him. The doc came in while I was there and said if he was still doing this well tomorrow he would be going home. He's glad about that as the bed is killing his butt. The funny part is... he is in the same exact room that I was in when I had my surgery back in December. Atleast there was no chance of me getting lost finding that room!!! Thanks Susan!! I'm so glad you were able to go see him, cuz I was not able to tonight. I get off work early today, and will have him home hopefully at a relatively decent hour...and back home before dark..(I HOPE!! I have a bad tendency to fall asleep if it gets too late!) His spirit has been great,huh? He's a sweetie... Take care and see ya Saturday... Tami
