My wife & I used BCBS. You have to stay on top of them. They tend to "lose" or "not recieve" paperwork. Several people, even our doctor's office, recommend calling everyday. Driving them crazy with calls tends to help some.

I completely agree with what Tj said....you do have to call them daily. They "lost" my paperwork a total of 6 times before it somehow magically appeared. I think they finally approved me to shut me up.

I called them everyday we were on a 1st name basis. I was approved in 3 days after they "finally" received my paper work. Don't call the # on the front of the card. Call the # on the BACK its the pre certification # or prior approval #!! Hope all goes well for you!
