Dr. Proctor and Richards in Gainesville

I would like to talk to anyone who has used these doctors. I was approved for a revision last year but due to respiratory problems have been unable to have the surgery. In the meantime, my doctor accepted another positions out of state. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mildred

Mildred, My sugeon was Dr. Richard and I had a friend that used Dr. Proctor. They are both wonderful and the staff is great too, I can't say enough about the hospital staff also, they were awesome. They also have a support meeting that you can attend. I had my surgery one month ago today and have really had no problems other than my tiredness. Mildred, Dr Procter was my surgeon, I had surgery 5-2-05 & I feel wonderful. Dr. Richard was the assistant surgeon & they both to me are "THE BEST", I had to pay 70% of my surgery bill because they were not in my network but I didn't care, I would not have let anyone else do my surgery. So I say go for it, they are wonderful. The hospital was great to. I love them all, I just sent a Thank You card to Dr. Procter today. I feel like he gave me my life back. Dr. Procter did the lap surgery for both my wife & me. The entire staff at Obesity Solutions is awesome. They don't treat you like a number. They truly care about you as a person. They seem to be totally honest and will answer ANY questions you may have. My wife grilled Dr. Procter at her pre-op and he welcomed and answered each question without beating around the bush. One neat thing they do, is on the day after the surgery they give you a teddy bear to help you feel better. (Our 4 year old keeps trying to steal them from us. ) Good luck to you in your pursuit.
