Eleven Days to Go

Hi all, I just wanted to share that I have eleven days left before my surgery. I am getting kind of excited. I didn't really think that I was nervous, but I keep having these crazy dreams about the surgery and my scale, so I guess that I may be more nervous than I realize. Anyway, keep me in your prayers and thanks for ALL of your support. I really do appreciate it. If there's anything I can do to help anyone else out, please let me know and I will do whatever I can. Valarie, I am glad to hear you are excited! The dreams will go away soon and you will be on that journey to a new life! Just go to sleep thinking of all the things you will be able to do when you lose your weight. You are in my prayers and if I can help in any way, let me know!! Valerie

Boy you just brought back memories of my pre-surgery days. I swear each night I dreamed of operations and being in the hospital! I hope these last few days fly by for you Kia 284/216/155 (ish) lost 68 # so far

GURL!!! I had the wackiest dang dreams!! I remember before my surgery, I had this dream that I had eaten an (one) M&M and my life was OVER!! LOL! I was running around trying to get rid of the M&M! ohhh yeah... the dreams...lol I won the lottery, in a bright yellow dream. I truely did win tho, not cash but so much more during this journey. The support and friendship from others, "my new family" is the perfect term, no one else has an inkling of what we have gone through. An even stronger faith in God, new self esteem (I already feel myself walking taller and holding my head higher), a jaw line, and a new friend called the scale. These last days before surgery you will be consumed by thoughts but they do by quickly. I never got that urge to clean everything like some preops, until the day before surgery and I kept saying I need just one more day! Try and keep busy with those kinds of things. And Valerie... clean out your winter clothes... you'll never wear them again! I'm here for support or friendship or anything else you might need, just ask. You are in my prayers.
