I have taken the final steps now... (dramatic music playing in the background)..... Pre-op all done... met with my surgeon, reviewed everything, signed the papers and headed to the hospital... Met with the anesthesiologist and did more blood work and took the tour.... answered a bazillion questions, and signed more forms.... I am all pre-checked in and even have my wrist band thingie.... Tomorrow I do only fluids.... and then drink the stuff that makes you a king... errr, makes you sit on the throne for a long time.... nobody will be able to tell me I am full of s@#t anymore... Couldn't find anyone to take me to the hospital wednesday... so I had to ask the soon-to-be ex wife to do it... gee, wont that be fun and Tami (Modean Ryan) will drive me back on Friday.... I get there at 8:30am, and surgery is supposed to be at 10:00am.... Thanks for all the support.... I sure do appreciate it...

Isn't Tami the most amazing, generous person you've ever met? I had no idea you needed help with getting to the hospital and getting home. Are you aware of the local WLS support group here in Warner Robins? We meet at the the Flint Elec Bldg out on Hwy 96 on the 1st and 3rd TUes of the month, which means tomorrow is a meeting night. We meet at 7:00 but the door is usually open at 6:30. Hope to see you there. Hugs, Tonya

Now you've gone and done it... hehe, just kidding. First week out may be rough but I'm losing weight like I could never dream possible. And I can see my jaw line... too weird... thought it was dirt when I first saw the shadow of it. Marc, keep your faith in God. If there is anything you need once you get home, don't hesitate to ask. We are neighbors and I should be released to drive on thursday. As for the soon to be ex. Maybe there's a reason shes supposed to be going. Y'all did love each other once. Tammi is da bomb! Really try to get to the support group meeting tonight. You might learn a thing or two and you will definately have a giggle or two! Its a nice way to spend an evening. And it has been proven that people who attend a support group do better over all and long term. You will be in my prayers. Barb
