Folks I gotta tell ya, I am struggling with my hair.... But it is a GOOD struggle.... ALLLLLL that hair that I lost (AND IT WAS LOTS AND LOTS) is all growing back in and it now has a life of it's own!! LOL! I have these chunks of hair all over my head that are now about 3-4 inches long, that just POKE OUT all over. I try to straighten, but it says HECK NAW!! LOL!! It's a bit of a P.I.T.A., but I gotta tell ya, it sure beats the crap out of what I was going through when I was losing it, and I was trying every remedy under the sun... The only thing that worked for me? MORE PROTEIN!! Anyhooz...I just wanted to share my silly hair story with you, so those of you who are struggling with hair loss, can KNOW that it DOES INDEED come back....now, I don't promise it's managable (lol) but it DOES come back. Have faith!! Good luck to all!! Tami 340/195/??

Tami, Too funny...I was gonna post about my hair loss too. But I am STILL looking hard at almost 11 mths out. I think I need to up my protein. I have extremely thick hair. Thank Goodness! Cuz I would be bald right now otherwise. I have lots of hair pokeys too. THat is why I am wear my hair in the style I am. I scrunch it with mousee and blow it dry with a diffuser. Wearing it curly and wild...that way you see all those stray hairs.LOL HUgs, Tonya

Tami, I am so glad to hear it WILL come back. There are so many posts about how much everyone is losing, but not how it is coming back! I really needed to hear that about now, too. After my second surgery in March I really have my hands full with my hair, and I mean that literally! I can't wait until I start to see little stubbies all over my head, may have to go with the Susan Powter look! LOL. Just one question, please tell me that only my natural hair color will come back. No gray hair, right? Patti

That's funny, Modean...I have to tell you that I dyed mine black (it was long enough to sit on) for about 20 years. Then, when I finally got sick of doing so and decided to let it grow out to cut it short -- for a while I looked like a SKUNK! When I got it cut short, it was snow white!

Too funny. I just cut all mine off when I started to lose it. And ladies mine is coming in different texture, curl and color!!! My mother has lost her hair many times with her cancer treatments and each time hers comes in differently. So we just laugh and tell ourselves how many woman get to change their looks like us!!! Lynn

Thanks for the encouragement! How far out from surgery are you? I'm wondering how long I have to wait until I can start being an encouragement to others! Cheryl
