Hi everyone, Hope all is well....just wanted to let ya'll know what was going on in my journey back to life. I have the endo appointment yesterday, and boy I am glad that is over. The nurse that I had for the procedure was a sweetie, I didnt get her name but she was from Uganda(sp?) all went well until I woke up in the middle, natural reflex is to gag(it works let me tell you) something deep in me knew that was going to happen luckly, the dr relized I was coming out of it quickly and gave me more drugs(thank God for good drugs...lol) I got a call from Dr. Lin and he was trying to see where he could fit me in for surgery BCBS said that all need to be done by 7/6...he also asked if i would be interested in a research study that he and some other drs are working on...has anyone done anything like that? I am getting so excited...seems like its getting more real everyday.....to Barb so you feel like crapola....if you feel up to it can you share some of what has been going on so i kinda have an idea what will happen after surgery......thanks in advance....erica

Hey Girly, I posted some of what I went through I don't know if it will help or hinder but you are in my prayers. I did want to mention that if I had the chance to be part of any study on this surgery I would jump at the chance. I believe there is still so much to learn and if your journey can help that I say go for it. One thing that confuses me is why there isn't some kind of protocol on this surgery. Why is every doctor so different? Lets keep in touch, I'll be watching out for you. B
