Help!! Surgery in days
Good for you getting in your vitamins now!
It can only help with the healing process. I was told by my doctor/nutritionist to get Ferrous Fulminate not Feffous sulfate. I can only assume that our new rerouted insides absorb the fulminate easier. I personally did not take any iron until after the surgery. Here is wishing you a quick trip to the losers side!

B4 surgery the blood work showed my iron low and I was advised to take coldeeze (lozenge) but not a pill. You may want to ask ya doc on this cuz if not low I hear no need to take. Hmmmm I am having a prob with this also. Trying to figure how much iron to take.
I take calium citrate from vitaminshoppe and Biotin and the multivitamin from there. I like that place. I just got some from Walmart but the price seemed the same. No real savings. Iron helps you heal though from what I am told.

Good luck to you, Shon! Dr. Procter told my wife and me to take Ferrous Fumarate. We found that it is in the chewable multivitamins. We get the Kroger brand. They have 18mg of Ferrous Fumarate in them. My wife had her blood work recently and everything came back with extremely good results. You may want to check them out. That way you can get the vitamins & the iron and not have to buy two different products.
