5 weeks out today...

Well, it has been 5 weeks today and I must say that it has been an interesting 5 weeks!!! I am down 39.5 pounds and am feeling SO much better!!!!!!!!! For the first time in ALOT of years I am below 300 pounds...that feels amazing. I saw my best friend of 20+ years on Sunday, she hasn't seen me since the day of surgery and she just raved...that feels even better!!!!!!!!! I am still having alot of issues with food and what to eat but I AM getting better. Still can't find a protein drink I can stand so I worry alot about getting some protein. Does anyone have any samples I can buy so I don't have to buy a huge thing without trying it first???? I am ready to start working out and getting in better shape...for the first time in my life I am actually excited about the prospect of working out . 39.5 pounds GONE...WOW!!!!!!!!!! Thank God for this surgery and I truly hope and pray that those of you seeking to have it will be able to and everything goes great. Thanks to everyone on this board for thier endless support and advice...I would have never done this without you guys. Love y'all!!!!! Shree
