Can Someone Please Help Me?

i just found out that i was approved for surgery. i have no idea as to what's going to happen now. i have had most of my testing and i only have one more doc to see this coming week. i don't know anyone that has had or is considering this surgery. i really want to make some friends to share my journey with... someone?...anyone?

Welcome to the Georgia Board!!! There are so many of us, who are at such different stages in this process. If you have any specific questions and/or concerns, just ask away and we will all help you to the best of our ability. Congratulations on getting the approval. I know that you problably have alot going on right now, and at times the prospect of surgery can be quite scary. I will tell you for me, it was the absolute best thing that I could have ever done for my family, my husband, my two boys, but most of all for me. Stephanie, I live in Lawrenceville and I am four days post-op. I am feeling great! I had some much anxiety going into the surgery, now I feel that that was a lot of wasted energy. If you need to talk I will home for the next few weeks recouping. Who is your surgeon? What hospital? Just make sure you follow your doctors instructions on what to eat after the surgery and the protocol after that. Welcome. Congrats on the approval. To some that was the hardest part. As for this board, we will answer any questions you have. We have a monthly get together to eat drink and gossip and laugh and laugh and laugh. You will have to come and meet us person to person. I don't bite!!! some may !!! lol but would love to meet you.
