Heya... Trust me, women do the same thing .... I can't get the time of day from most women because all they see is the weight... It isn't just men ... it's people in general.... unfortunately...

I never had a problem being "ignored" before surgery. A lot of people notice more attention after surgery...I don't know if it's self-confidence that I had pre-op, but I feel like I have been treated equally both before and after...except one a$$hole #*$&#$*#&$ at the Quick Trip when I weighed 348. Other than that...I feel that I am treated pretty much the same. A lot of posties notice what you notice though...I think I'm a minority on this one! Happy Holiday! Sherry

Oh you are not alone ...I went thru and still going thru that same thing ...I am lucky and i meet my boyfreind while i was still loseing so and right off the bat i told him the deal and said here is what i looked like before and i could end up like that again ...But he is a great guy ...But i still think he is jsut with me cause i am smaller than before and all .....but it is hard to get over the fact that this world is all about looks .....which totally sucks if you ask me Laura
