About two months ago I was told that I had type II diabetes. Truth be known, I most likely had it along time ago, but I wouldn't go to a doctor. Well, funny how when you can't function properly, you start to take notice of such things. Well, from that I started to really change my diet (BIG TIME) and because of that, I have lost 13 lbs. and no longer need glasses. This is just the start. Today I go for my psychological evaluation and then after that all I will have left is my trip to a diatician. Every day I am a step closer. Just thought I would share that with you. Hope everyone has a good day. Ken

Ya know Ken, sometimes it really does take that 'slap across the face' to make ya realize something. Diabetes was mine as well. Its a serious of hoops you have to jump through to get to where you go in for surgery. My pre-op was yesterday and I thought that was my last hoop before surgery on friday but lo and behold they handed me a bowel prep for thursday night ugh... lol. Its a roller coaster babe but look how far you've come. BTW, the psych and the dietician are definately the easy ones Keep on smiling... Barb
