Can you believe bcbs!

I called today to check if I was approved and the lady told me she had not even received my packet when they sent it to review on the 10th. She told me to call my doctors office. Lazy people, Carrie Ann at Dr. Richards office took care of it though. I was so upset because I have already been waiting two weeks.

Rene, Sorry to hear about your frustrations. I can belive it ! I went throguh the same thing with BCBS. My best advice is to call them weekley if not daily . Make sure you get there name when you call and document it . Eventually if you call enough , you will get all sorts of stories and when you present them back , finally they will have a answer for you . Hang in there and best of luck in your journey Janet

Sorry to hear that you are getting the response that you are....I also have BCBS...one thing i can suggest is to call the pre cert number on the back of the card...I had first called the number on the front of the card and they were worthless, but the lady i spoke with in pre cert was helpful and was able to tell me what was going on...it took me almost 6 weeks to get my approval....hope this helps Erica
