water consumption?
A quick reply to your post from another "got to go all the time " .
I have noticed that since the surgery , I just don't have to urinate as much. Granted , it has been hard to get in all the water since surgery ; however not having to be part of the "got to go club" is a nice thing
I do wonder how some of you long time post ops managed getting in all your water ?

I am finally getting in about 45 ounces a day, still not enough but better than I have been. I notice that I think I have to pee like crazy too, but when I go it's barely any. I think your body just sucks it up!
I will say that my skin always looks dry now, even shea butter barely helps. I know if I could get in more water I wouldn't have as bad a time with it....

I know of very few folks, who in their first few weeks of being post-op, can get in all their water. I know I couldn't. Even now at 5 months post-op, I still have trouble getting it all in every day. I can finally guzzle a little bit now which makes it a little easier. I was such a big drinker before surgery that I spent so much time feeling dehydrated for the first few weeks afterwards. Your body adjusts until you can get it all in.

My body now REALLY lets me know when I need tha****er. I never used to feel the NEED to drink water, but for example, I went to the Renaissance Festival yesterday and within just a couple of hours, I was hunting water, and went ahead and bought TWO bottles, cuz I was sooooo thirsty.
I do pee an avg amount. I get my water in, and it DOES seem if I go a few days and not get my water in and then start back up, then yeah, I have to go alot. But if I stay consistent with it, it kind of tapers off to normal.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!
