looking for a dietician
Hello everyone!! I am wanting to have LAP RNY, but as you know I must jump through all the hoops first. So far I have gotten everything together, except the Dietician. Does anyone know if there is one in the Warner Robins/ Macon area and that BCBS FED will cover or does Ins. not cover Dietician's ? All information will be appreciated.

I don't have any info for you on the dietician thing, but Tricare kept me onbase for my nutritionist visits, and the specific dietician who discussed my diet post op was the one Dr. Appel uses in Decatur. Best of luck getting your surgery

Can't really give you any info on dieticians in your area but most times insurance does not cover those visits 
How I got around that was when I was diagnosed with type II diabetes, I began seeing the dietician at my endocrinolgist's office. I had 3 diabetes classes plus a one one assesment. So I only ended up paying my $20 copay for 2 visits to have a 6 month supervised plan.

I've got a terrific dietician. Only downfall is she is in Dublin but it was an easy drive and easy to get to her. She only charges $80.00 while the one I found in Warner Robins charged $360.00. And my insurance would not cover this.
I'd be happy to give you both or either one of their names and numbers, just let me know.
