I LOVE SHOPPING

I must admit one of my all time favorite past times is to shop (yeah even as a big girl I LOVED shopping) but now I CRAVE going into a store to find out that I fit in a smaller size! I bought some 14's tonight!!!! YES - I never really imagined that I'd get this small....but BOY HOWDY doesn't it feel FAB_O_LICIOUS!!!!! That's not even the best part. I've always liked the strappy thong sandals but never bought them cause my feet were too fat for them.....but I have bought some and if I do say so myself they're TOO CUTE!!! I LOVE LIFE!!!!! I THANK GOD every day for bringing me to have this surgery!!!! (Oh - I almost forgot.....He's brought me a new man.....we'll see how this one goes....so far so good!!! ) I just had to share!!! That is wonderful Dee Dee. I look forward to the time I can go to the store to get whatever I want to wear. I really dont know what size I am down to...I think it is around an 18-20...but I have decided that I am not going to buy anything until my other clothes just fall off. My mom has promised me a big shopping spree to buy me a new wardrobe. She said when I was under 200 but I told her to wait until really needed the clothes. 200 is only a milestone, I have big things to conquer. When I get to 175, then we will talk shopping...that is about 20 more lbs to go. Oh and as for the man, you go girl...you deserve a man who will treat you right. D'Lynn 232/229/195 -37lbs so far.

Thanks D'Lynn.....you'll realize at some point that no matter what you do your clothes will NOT stay on! (And no matter how many safety pins you use....you can't gather enough material to make it look decent...) Enjoy your loss!!!! I'll celebrate with you as you continue loosing!!!! Much Dee Dee

Dee Dee, I must tell you I have been having a rough couple of days. My surgery is just 2 weeks away, 13 days actually. I've been a mixture of emotions from hell. I mean that literally, even having a bit of trouble turning toward God. I just read your post and a calmness came over me and I actually smiled. Thank you. I know my faith is very strong and God is so good to me. I know He's brought me to this path. And reading your post, well, I hope you understand. Thank you. Life is wonderful when you can live it. Barb, Some times when you feel the weakest is when you need a word of inspiration. I'm glad I could provided even a moment of that for you! DeeDee, You've work very hard to get into those 14s! You exercise and exercise and exercise. That makes the difference!!! You go girlfriend!!!

Thank you Sherry! I have to tell you I started out exercising because my Doctor recommended it with the surgery to help avoid loosing muscle mass and to promote loosing fat. I don't do it for that any more....at least not completely. I've become seriously addicted to the endorphine rush I get from working out. I talk about people needing to exercise because it's good for you.......but my secret is I"M ADDICTED!!! Thank you again!! Much Dee Dee
