1 week out minus 11 lbs.
Just got home from my post op appt. Was totally shocked to see that I had dropped 11 lbs in 1 week. Wow... I don't ever recall losing that much in one week. Got a chance to see a couple of the ladies who had surgery around the time that I did today. Congrats, Barbara and Cindy on your weight losses also. Marie, was great to see you again today.. Next visit will be in June......can't wait to see the change when I go back for that checkup...Now I guess it is time to do the measurements and start the weekly weigh ins... Thanks again to everyone for the well wishes and the prayers...

Congrats Patrice...now I dont feel so bad. When I first went and only lost 12 lbs...I thought dang, I should have lost more than that...but it seems anything between 10 and 15 lbs is what you are expected for the 1st week. Anyway, you are doing great...sorry I didnt get to talk to you the other night when you called but we were out and didnt get home until around 10p, too late to call you back then. You will continue to be productive and dont get too obcessive with the weighing in. Of course when I weigh, it is a true weight...first thing in the morning with my birthday suit. You know clothes always weigh something....lol.. Good to see you are doing so well.

That is wonderful Patrice. You & I are losing about the same speed, I think I had surgery a couple days before you 5/2, & on my post op visit I had lost 13lb. I know it might sound crazy but with just what I have lost I feel so much better, I can even breathe better at night. Keep up the good work, maybe we can meet at one of the monthly meetings. I don't think I will make the May one because before surgery I couldn't stomach Japanese food ( just the smell) so now I don't think I will try it either, but maybe in June we can meet. Keep up the good work.
