:type: Newbie from Newnan Ga

Hi my names is melissa, I am from Newnan Ga., hoping to have surgery, I have to go to a WLS seminar June 21st for Dr. Titus Duncan, Has anyone onthis board used him as your Dr. I have research him and seen all great stats on him, I was just wondering I guess. I am 5' 3 " (short, lol) and 238. Thanks, Melissa

Nice to "meet" you, Melissa. My husband used Duncan's group for his surgery on 3/23 and I'm using them for mine (hopefully). I'll have everything completed after the nutrionist visit on Monday. They should submit all of my information then. I'm 5'5" and weigh 340. I have been overweight my entire life, and I am so looking forward to a "normal" weight and all the things that entails. Welcome! These are GREAT people.

Nice to "meet" you as well Stephanie, I myself have not been over weight all my life but have been for approximately 12 yrs now, I am on meds that are causing this weight gain so I feel it's time to do something before it gets outa hand. I used Dr Duncan's office although Dr Hobson actually did my surgery. Peachtree Surgical is a wonderful place. I have not had a single thing to complain about with them. They was there for every hurdle I crossed on my way to WLS. They are all very understanding and patient. The seminar is a great learning experience. You will get all your questions answer during that period. Dr Duncan, Dr Hobson and most of the staff will be present. You wil also learn that some of his staff have also had the surgery so they completely understand what you are going thru. I wish you luck on your journey, you will be in very good hands if you choose Dr Duncan.

Hi melissa, I am about an hour down the road from you. Peachtree surgical did mine - Dr Larry Hobson back in August. I have been very pleased. I had no complications. Just be VERY patient, they see alot of people!

Thank you all I have heard and read a great deal on Dr. Duncan and he seems to be very educated in the field he is in, plus I have to say I have seen in on fox 5 news so I figured he must ne great. Melissa
