Holey Guacamole!
Atkins really works! I have lost 16 pounds in 5 days, and 21 since I weighed in at my nutritionist and was told to lose 30-40 before surgery!
At this rate, and considering that the package hasn't been submitted to the insurance yet, I will be able to lose the amount they want me to!
Still have this ridiculous cold/flu/crud whatever that has settled into my chest... but I am feeling pretty good about the weigh in tomorrow at Dr. Harts office!
Onward!
The eating is the best part! I never realized that the foods that are allowed on Atkins are also some of my favorites.... so that helps enormously with sticking with it and not missing the other foods...
Breakfast is an omelet with cheese and mushrooms, snack was a couple of pieces of bacon and a little tuna salad.... Lunch is roast beef or ham roll-ups made with real cream cheese and some olives and maybe a couple of deviled eggs, dinner was chicken and a wonderful salad with real bleu cheese, eggs, cheese, mushrooms and bacon bits!
