I'm APPROVED!!!!

Hey Ya'll I am approved and my surgery is tentatively scheduled for June 17th pending the doctor's office receipt of the actual hard copy of my approval (BCBS called me and told me as soon as it was approved) I am very excited and not at all nervous right now. (KNOCK ON WOOD) I am also exhausted. I am trying to move, deal with the kids and get ready for a professional exam this week, but I am sure it will all be better soon. Keep me in your prayers. Also, one dumb question. What happens if I were to accidentally swallow a piece of gum post surgery (I have a bad habit of doing this unconsciously) Should I stop chewing gum altogether? I know.... of all the things to be worried about. I'm gonna go and and I look forward to taking to everyone later. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated. Well my surgeon sent me a letter stating the things I can and can not do and chewing gum was number one on the list. Or I cant have a mint or anything in my mouth this will DELAY the surgery.

Congratulations on your approval, Valarie!!! Concerning the gum, I've seen negative and neutral comments...so I just stay away from it. There have been a few times that I chewed it, but I was very conscious of it for the entire time. I've changed to cough drops and breath mints. You are in my prayers! Hugs, Becky
