Home From the Hospistal

My WLS was Monday 4/25 with Dr. Titus Duncan. I was released form the hospital Yesterday. (Tuesday 4/26) No Problems but the stuff you have to drink for the leak test is worse than anyone said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried a Suger Free Popsical Last night but is was too sweet tasting.... Is it normal for your tastes to change so quickly? Apple juice in the hospital had to be cut 50/50 because it tasted to sweet too. I liked both of them before the surgery. Glad to be home and feeling good. Yesterday was pretty bad but today I feel really good. Torre

Hi, Torre! The leak test drink was the worst tasting stuff I have ever injested. Your taste buds will change as you go! After the two day fasting and your surgery, your tummy is going to be EXTRA sensitive for a while. Stick to the plan, and you will be great!!! Glad you are feeling better today! Becky
