I have lost 47 lbs!

I weighed today and I weigh 364 lbs, down from 411 on my initial surgeon's visit makes 47 lbs, 35 since the surgery, 12 as part of the pre-op. I'm pretty psyched. I have this Tiki idol shirt that I have NEVER been able to button, I wore it over a T or Tank. Recently, I have stopped wearing it at all cuz it was too tight even open. I wore it to work buttoned up and got all kinds of compliments (it was casual friday). I also wore a pair of jeans that totally never fit now they are loose. I just get impatient sometimes with the weightloss, but I think this is pretty good for a tad over a month out of surgery.

That is great to hear, man! It is such a wonderful feeling when you get to put those old favorites back on and they look even better than they did the first time. Keep up the good work! I am four months out and am down 71.5! You are well on your way. It's great to hear of other men who are going down this road!

Aww garsh everybody, thanks. I am going to go to the lunch up in Marietta, but I haven't gone to any support groups yet. I need to, just because it's at times VERY difficult to deal with and I think I'd do well to be around others that have done this surgery.

I love my studmuffin. He is just melting away. He was cute before and now he is just smaller and still cute. It really is amazing how quickly he is changing.
