Exercise and clothes....need your help!
Now that I've gotten your attention with one of your most favorite and least favorite things (at least for me), here's what I want to ask/say:
As far as exercise goes, can anyone tell me what are the best ones for working on the under-the-arm fat and the inner thigh fat? I'm using a 5 pound weight every morning after my 2 mile Walk Away the Pounds walk, to try and tone my arms. I'm doing the thing where you hold the weight together in both hands, bring your arms up straight over your head and bring it up and down behind your head....can you picture that? I also do old fashioned curls, standing curls (where you bring the weight up under your armpit) and the dreaded straight out to shoulder level thingies...those kill me! Is there anything else I can do for my chicken wings? And the inner thighs....other than leg lifts is there anything I can do?
Ok, about the clothes....I'm going to be bringing some clothes to the next luncheon on April 30th, but I'm also signed up to donate items to the Family Violence Council on April 26th. If anyone has any clothes they'd like to donate, kids clothes, adult clothes, whatever, please bag them up and bring them to me. I'd love to be able to give them as much as possible. They support battered women and children's shelters.
Thanks guys!
Kelle

If you can find out anything more about the under arms and thighs please let me know... I'm worried that I'm gonna fly away! My wings are like whoa! lolol XD
Also I have a bad buldge at my mid section... how can you get rid of that? I haven't got my surgery yet but I really wanna start working on that ab area.. it pokes out farther than my tummy!
Hi Kelle! I think I spelled your name wrong in the last post...sorry about that! I have three suggestions for you for your arms. First, push ups. I can't do more than two at a time, but I guess over time you build up, and every effort is better than nothing at all. Second, tricep kickbacks. This is where you stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your weights in your hands. You start out with your hands down buy your side, and then you pull your arms up toward your armpits (like you are putting on a pair of pants). At this point, your elbows will be sticking out back behind you. With your arms in this position, extend your hands back behind you, and then bring them back in. Hopefully that visual makes sense! Last suggestion, shoulder presses. Stand with the weights in your hand, and put your arms up in the air like you are making a touchdown sign. Lift the weights over your head up and down....WARNING! THIS ONE HURTS AFTER A FEW REPS
Good thing about this one is you will have nice, toned shoulders that will look good in short sleeve/sleeveless tops
On the inner thighs, the only think I know of is the abductor/adductor machine you see at most gyms. Maybe try lunges? I know lunges are good for your quads, don't know about the inner thighs.
Hope this helps!

Kelle,
Your arms and thighs will get a little better...but that's where you have your loose skin. I have lost a ton of weight...exercise faithfully, strength train, and training for a marathon and my thighs look like a sharpai...unfortunately, they will have to be cut off if I want improvement.
Keep up the good work with the exercise. Good for you!!!
