Alrighty Lady Bug haven't heard from you in a few days.Hope that your cruise was an enjoyable one. Trying to find out how you are doing now that surgery is rapidly approaching. Have you went in for your pre-op testing and all that good stuff? Hoping that I will get my date tomorrow....Wishing it will be the same week but I am almost certain that week is full by now. If it happens to work out that I can get that I will be delighted if not then perhaps my pre-op will be that week and I will be able to stop by the hospital and check on you..Will let you know something just as soon as I hear from Dr. Harts office...I know they have received my approval so I am guessing they will call me Monday with a date... Let me hear from you....... Patrice

Hello Patrice! Congratulations! I did not know that you had been approved! The last I heard you were denied from the first company. I am so excited for you. Well I have had a very hectic 3 weeks. As you know my son visited from california for 5 days and wanted me to cook all of his favorites, and of course I did. The day after he left we went on our cruise. When we returned I went by the local gym to weigh and I had lost 6 pounds, cruise, his visit and all. ( I don't have a scale at home) well that made 16 pounds. (I was origionally ask to lose 30- but the lady that scheduled my surgery said 20---)I was home for 3 days and left for a 4 day field trip with my class to Jekyll Island. Believe it or not this trip was harder than the cruise. For some reason I had lots of will power on the cruise. I avoided the midnight buffets and ate mostly meat and salads at meals. This field trip was for a conference and I didn't have much choice of foods. They surved us school type food plates 3 times a day and the kids (14 freshmen and sophomores) snacked from the junk machines constantly. Of course when we stopped on the way there and back it was junk and fast food. I returned home last night. I have my pre surgical nutritionalist appointment Wednesday. I think I need to lose about 5 more pounds. I will only eat salads and vegie's for the next few days. I have to see Rachael on Wed and if the weight loss is ok will see Dr. Hart Thurs for pre surgical exam. I also have to go to the hospital and do a pre op visit. I am doing it Thurs afternoon. They wanted me to go another day but I really do not need to take off more work so Dr. in the am and hospital in the p.m. One of my friends said that the hospital will do some more blood work. We'll see...Good to hear from you..let me know when you get a date.

I am a Paraprofessional at Sequoyah High School. I am one of the students in the paraprofessional program that you taught a year or so ago. I did not have you for a teacher, but know who you are. Maybe I should sayI know who you were because I have not seen you since your surgery! I have two fellow classmates that you may or may not know that are in the testing process for this surgery. One is a parapro at Cherokee and the other at Teasley. They haven't told anyone yet. I haven't told anyone but them that I go to school with. My principal and the main teacher I work with know. I find it hard to talk about it to others. I told my sister and asked her not to tell anyone. I don't know why but this seems very private. Did you feel this way?
