I am so glad that Kelle posted the original worry wart post, because I have been worrying this week also I am just about 2 months out now and have lost only 42lbs. Everyone says that in the beginning everyone loses alot of weight and fast, then eventually it slows down. I am worried that if I am losing too slowly now in the beginning, what will happen to me later??? Also, at times I worry that I will stop losing altogether. I know I am not suppose to compare myself to others but it is sooooooooooooooo hard, especially when I would love to lose at least another 130-150lbs! I went yesterday and met with my nutritionist and turned in my food diary, she says I am right on track with water and protein and all my vitamins, and as for the weight loss, she thought I was doing well. Of course she is a skinny minny who has probably never been more than 5 pounds overweight, so of course 42lbs sounds fabulous to her. Any ideas or thoughts????? Kelly S

Try figuring out how much percentage of your excess weight you have lost instead of worrying about the actual numbers. Take your starting weight minus your goal weight. That will give you your pounds you need to lose. Now take how much you have ALREADY lost and divide that by your total pounds you needed to lose. Now add 2 decimal places. (if your number is .3418 it will be 34%) That will give you your percentage lost so far. Trust me you will be surprised! For example, I started out at 284 pounds. My goal weight is 150. If I subtract 150 from 284, that means I have to lose 134 pounds. As of April 11, I weighed in at 232 pounds, for a total loss so far of 52 pounds. 52 divided by 134 is 0.388. So, for me, I have lost 38.8 % of my excess weight
