First time angel needs help !!

Okay people , I'm new to this angel thing , so I need your help !!! I'm Tammy Gunter's angel and she's having surgery on May 2, 2005. I see on here where y'all sit up a place to post on their profile page , how do I do that ? I'm going to be at the hospital when she has surgery . What else do I need to do? I've known Tammy all her life and I was to do this angel thing right !!! Thanks, Judy

I think being an angel is more about being there for the person both before and after the surgery. I've only done it twice (total strangers I met here) and both people have become friends. You need to ask people to sign her surgery page as it gets closer to time. I think Obesity help sets up that page. Personally I didn't even know it existed until months after my surgery. The good thing is they only have one person for an angel, so if I mess up they don't know the difference. Every person has different needs so I don't think there is any one formula to follow. You will do fine, just enjoy the experience and your friend will be happy to have you there for support.

Well you are ALREADY doing it right!! Just by caring, and being supportive, and showing the concern you have shown. I've posted Tammy's support page here for you. All you have to do for future reference, is to go to that person's profile, then click in the upper right hand corner, where it says "Click here for "...;s" surgerysupport page". When it comes up, go to the url line at the top of your computer, highlight it, then click "edit" then "copy". Then, when you do a post here, you will come into this message, and click "edit" then "paste" and VOILA' !!!!!!!! The link to her support page!!
