I am sooooooooo happy for you. It'll all be over and done with before you know it. I was up in your neck of the woods today and wanted to check in with you but never could get caught up enough to make it down to your hall.....Let me know now when you get your date, so I can rejoice with you....and keep me in your prayers as well...that we will find a way for me to get this done. I am still researching and I know that this is what I want. I pray the Lord will make a way. Love ya girl. Shelley

I am hoping to have a date tomorrow... Keep your fingers crossed that Mildred will call me back with a date.. The only thing they were waiting on was a fax from BCBS with the codes and an approval confirmation number. The lady at BCBS promised that would be faxed over to them this afternoon... Hopefully I will get that call tomorrow and won't have to wait the entire weekend to find out.
I am surprised that you didn't hear me shouting all over the school today when I found it out. Talk about estatic this ole gal here could have walked on the clouds.Even though I am one step closer to my surgery I am still here to support you along the way. If you need someone to talk with about all this just call.. Afterall if it weren't for the support of others I think most of us would go crazy on this journey. (as you know crazy isn't far off for me...LOL) Take care and you bet I will be letting you know when I get a date......I can send you an offline if you ever get a chance to check your messenger...If not I guess you will have to check here or wait till next week when you are back at our school....
And by the way thanks for all the prayers and for being so supportive to me thru this.

BTW, how is your grandson doing? Thanks Stephanie ........ As for Benjaminn he is doing better he will return to Egleston next Wednesday to have the stent in his kidney removed.He will be hospitalized overnite for this procedure and if all goes well he will return home the following day. Benjamin is not my grandson but my nephew. Hopefully one day I will have grandchildren but not just yet! As much as I love Benjamin I am sure that he feels like he has bunches of grandparents... You would think we wouldn't smother him with so much love an attention....But then who can resist themselves with such a precious gift from God.....Thanks for asking about my angel.

I"m glad to hear that that things are definitely looking up for him. I have thought about him often. It is amazing how differently you feel when you hear stories like yours after having a child. It is though every child is yours.

Thanks for taking the time to ask about Benjamin..He is a special little fellow and we are blessed to have him in our lives. He will be admitted into Egleston again this coming Wednesday, April 20th for another surgery. I ask that everyone remembers him again in their prayers. Although he is doing better, he is still a long ways from being well. But we take it one day at a time and leave it in the Lords hands. Thanks again for the concern and the prayer....
Btw..... Even though he isn't my grandson I don't believe I could love him any less.... As for grandchildren I don't have any of those yet. So I just have to love Benjamin a little more till that day. Between him and all the kids in my class I am surrounded by all that unconditional childlike love.

Congrats girl, I am so happy for you. Only one word of advise...BCBS was backed up with the letters, and I am not sure Amanda ever got mine, but they did get a verbal approval that they would pay and so I got a date and all. I am so happy for you and glad to hear Benjamin is doing good as well. Let me know what day you will be having surgery...congrats again girl..you deserve this after all you have been through....lol.
