Hello Georgia!

Hello Hello, I just recently moved to Athens, GA... Not quite sure this will be a perm or temp move, but future months will see. I actually know a couple of you Georgia folks already, as I just peeked through the roster of members. One thing I hope you all could answer me now is.. I am looking for a WLS Surgeon who does Lapbands. I already have my Lapband, but now that I have moved I will need someone to go do checkups with and fills. Appreciate any help you can give. Hopefully the surgeon you know will accept other peoples patients for fills/clients. Dirk

DIRK!!!! Where you been hon? Welcome Welcome! Happy to see you here! My Dr does lapbands. Dr's Appel and Steinburg. They are at DeKalb Medical which is 78 in the opposite direction of you. Let me know and I can pass you the info. Glad to see you! Denise

Hiya Denise, I knew you would peek on soon. Thanks for the referals, ill give those guys a call and see what they can do for me. Sometimes it is hard to find someone that will do fills for the lapband, if they didn't get the surgery actually done by that surgeon. Go ahead and email me any info you have

Yep, I saw the post about the luncheon, I will see what I can do. I'm a big fan of UGA sports (finally can fit into that dern sporting seats!!!), so depends whats going on that weekend.

Well, after your email, I had to go find your post...it would be GREAT if you could come to the luncheon on Saturday...sounds like we are going to have a great turnout, and you could meet LOTS of folks!! I can't believe you are in JAWJA!!! Come out and play on Saturday!!!! (Only thing is, if I get to meet you on Saturday, I'll have to do it without ANY makeup on my face, cuz I am having Lasik on Thursday and you aren't allowed any facial makeup for a WEEK!!! So if you come, don't freak and think EWWWWW! ) I hope you can make it....
